When we are away from the office, away from work, wandering in free thought we often stumble upon found objects that catch our eye and make us pause. It could be a grouping of rocks, a broken wall or any other object or unplanned scene. These scenes bring us inspiration and influence our thoughts. Perhaps they will provide enough influence, nestle themselves deep enough in our minds to influence the design of a project.
Site visits during construction also provide this same opportunity. The flow of the site, the organization of material and the haphazard discarding of materials all provide opportunities. The following are images taken from the Geometrik construction site during the course of construction.
